Price list

   Wireless Dev Studio is delivered in two versions: Standard Edition and Professional Edition. The Professional edition, unlike the Standard one, supports the GSM data calls too. For a comparative table of the two versions, please click here.

   Wireless Dev Studio is deployed with any of the following three licenses:

   The 1T (one terminal) license allows your application to handle one single GSM terminal but doesn't allow you to re-distribute Wireless Dev Studio with your application. If you purchase the 1T license, you'll have to send us some information about the terminal you want to register for use with Wireless Dev Studio (model, IMEI, manufacturer). The 1T license doesn't allow you to register other devices but the first one: so this kind of license is well suited for people who need to create an application that uses a single terminal and that is not to be re-distributed.

    The LT (limited terminals) license allows you to handle a finite number of GSM terminals. These need to be registered before being used, by means a procedure you can find in the reserved area on our web site. The LT price already includes the cost for enabling the first GSM terminal. There is no limit to the number of GSM you can register, but each time you want to enable a further terminal, you have to pay a "registration fee" specified in the following price list. You have not to specify the number of terminals you want to enable, when purchasing the LT license: whenever you'll want to add any other devices, at any moment, you can buy other "registrations" from our reserved area. The LT license allows you to redistribute Wireless Dev Studio with your application. Surely, you'll have to deploy your application together with one of the registered terminals.

   The UT (unlimited terminals) license supports an unlimited number of GSM devices. In such case, you won't have to provide us with the terminal info each time you add a new device, since Wireless Dev Studio will function with any terminal connected with the PC. Also, the UT license grants you the right to redistribute Wireless Dev Studio with your app, without paying any terminal-based license fee.

   Note: with "redistribution rights of Wireless Dev Studio" we mean the rights to distribute the ActiveX with your application only for run-time use. Under no circumstances you are able to distribute the Wireless Dev Studio package for design-time use to third parties.

   If you choose the 1T or LT licenses (for which the device registration procedure is provided), you will receive the WDS License Manager software which is used to interrogate your GSM terminal and to retrieve all necessary information to bind Wireless Dev Studio to your specific terminal.

   The listed prices refer to the purchase of a package that can be installed on a single PC (1 Developer License). If you want to use Wireless Dev Studio (at design-time) on more PCs, you will need to purchase as many "Developer" licenses as there are computers which are used for the development.    Support and updates
   Each "trouble ticket" entitles you to receive support for a single well-defined technical problem. You'll be charged of the cost of the ticket only if the problem will be solved. Should you discover any bugs in our software, we'll correct them for free, even if you didn't choose a support formula.

    No estimation can be made about the time within which the technical problem will be solved. The reply time is indicative, not "guaranteed", and does not include week ends and holidays.

    Everyone can buy Wireless Dev Studio, but only the residents in UE and the residents in Switzerland and Norway can order a GSM terminal. All other customers can buy a GSM terminal on dedicated web sites or at the retailer in their own area (click here for a list of the web sites of producer companies to find the retailer in your area).
    Private UE residents (non firm) have to add a 20% VAT.   There are no further taxes for Extra-UE residents, but it should be required to pay customs duties at the delivery.
